Upside Down London

A Camera Obscura at Alexandra Palace

Pinhole London has built a brand new pop-up camera obscura at Alexandra Palace

A natural phenomenon where light projects the world outside — step inside and watch the park, skyline, and people passing by appear before you, live and upside down.

Pinhole London is partnering with disability groups across Haringey as part of a creative health programme, with public sessions opening in August 2026.

Funded by Arts Council England and evaluated by Breathe Arts Health Research, the project builds vital evidence for sensory and arts-based approaches to wellbeing.
